The rules for using PlantIDOnline and its free plant identifier.

These terms apply when you use https://plantidonline.com and its plant identification tools (the “Service”), operated by PlantIDOnline (“we”, “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. What the Service is

The Service gives automated, photo-based plant identification, care information and safety notes. Results are estimates generated by software. They can be wrong and are provided for general information only. Please read our Disclaimer.

2. Free use and limits

The Service is free, with a limit of [5] identifications per day. We may change the limit, add features, or pause or end the Service at any time.

3. Your photos and content

• You keep ownership of the photos you upload.
• You give us permission to process each photo only to provide the identification you requested, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Only upload photos you have the right to use. Do not upload photos of people, illegal content, or anything you are not allowed to share.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use bots, scripts or automated tools to send requests, or try to get around the daily limit;
• copy, resell or republish results or site content at scale;
• try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
• use the Service for anything unlawful.

5. Safety

Never eat, brew, apply to skin, feed to an animal or otherwise use a plant based on a result from the Service. Do not use the Service to identify mushrooms. If a person or animal may have eaten a plant, contact a poison-control service, a doctor or a vet immediately.

6. Our content

The site design, text, guides and logo belong to us or our licensors. You may share links and short quotes with credit. Other use needs our written permission.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that results will be accurate, complete or available at all times.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss, injury or damage that results from using, or relying on, the Service or its results — including harm to people, animals, plants or property. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Links to other sites

We may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
